Louise (Radley) Schreiner, 63, Briarwood Apts. died Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Schreiner was a self employed beautician her entire working career and at the time of her death was employed at the Mixed Company Hair Salon on Franklin St.
She was born in Watertown, November 11, 1944, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Augliano Darling. She graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy and graduated from Chriselle’s Beauty School in Watertown.
Mrs. Schreiner was an active fundraiser for the American Heart Association and participated with Little Theatre of Watertown. She had a passion for poetry, crafting and creative writing.
She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church. She married Richard Schreiner. A previous marriage ended in divorce.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son Joseph P. Radley, Rochester. 2 daughters and their husbands, Amy and Richard Hanson, Dexter; Jacqueline and John Kloster, Copenhagen.
5 grandchildren, Lindsay and Benjamin Hanson, Joseph Murtha, Jake Galster and Jadyn Kloster.
3 brothers and 2 daughters-in-law, James R. Darling, Nickolas W. and Marlene Darling, all of Watertown, Joseph G. and Maureen Darling, Chicago, IL. 3 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law, Michelle and William “Fuzzy” Powell, Cathy and Allen “Butch” Maitland, all of Watertown, Mary Anne Wasilewski, Syracuse. Her aunt, Angelina Sparacino, Watertown. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral mass will be Thursday 11 am at St. Anthony’s Church with Rev. Donald Robinson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 4pm – 8pm at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
