John A. Frazier

John A. Frazier, 70 , Star School Rd. , Dexter died Tuesday at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home after a brief illness, where he had resided for 12 days.

Mr. Frazier was born November 13, 1937 in Theresa. He attended Theresa schools and joined the U.S. Army in 1956 serving until 1964. After returning home, he worked for Hinman and Young Hardware in Theresa. Later, he worked for Crowley Foods in LaFargeville retiring in 2005 as plant supervisor after 45 years there. Mr. Frazier was also in the US Army Reserves Military Police for 8 Years.

He married Genevieve Loomis December 7, 1957 at the LaFargeville Methodist Church.

Mr. Frazier enjoyed fishing, golfing, small engine repair, computers and NASCAR.

Surviving besides his wife Genevieve are two daughters and their husbands, Pamela and Dr. Leo O’Connor, Croghan, Jill and James Newman, Watertown. A grandson, Jody Yerdon, Watertown and a granddaughter Christy Yerdon, Croghan.

A private service will be held at the family’s convenience. Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.
