Elva D. Pearson

Elva D. Pearson, 74, of 210 Monroe Ave died Sunday morning at her home under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County and her family.
Mrs. Pearson was born August 15, 1933 in Watertown to Norman and Thelma Slye Guyette. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1951.
She married Ronald W. Pearson, August 16, 1952 at St. Anthony’s Church with Monsignor Claude Sechi officiating. Mr. Pearson died June 7, 1997. Mrs. Pearson was a homemaker and loved word games and computers.
Surviving are three daughters and two son-in-laws, Peggy and David Wilson, Pamela and John Forsythe and Nancy Redder all of Watertown, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Two brothers Melvin N. and William W. Guyette and a sister Beverly J. Scee died before her.
There will be no calling hours or funeral. Her body will be cremated. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in the spring at the family’s convenience.
Donations can be made in her honor to the Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Jefferson County, 321 Prospect St.
