Anthony J. Maracle

Anthony J. Maracle, 51, 665 Olive St., died Tuesday morning at his residence. An autopsy conducted by the Jefferson County Medical Examiner Dr. Samuel Livingstone, determined the cause of death to be asphyxia due to aspiration.
Mr. Maracle worked for the Burns Newspaper Corporation and was a self employed carpenter.
He was born in Watertown, December 30, 1955, a son of Wilfred “Ace” Maracle and Margaret Cousins Maracle. He married Patricia Decker. They have been separated for 20 years.
He is survived by a son, Anthony J., II, Watertown. 2 daughters, Brandi Mekosh, Butler, PA, and Melissa Maracle, Watertown. 2 grandchildren. 2 brothers, Robert “Skip” and Michael, both of Watertown. A sister, Mrs. Randall (Susan) Bell, Watertown. Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Laurie Decker in 1982 and a brother, Wilfred III in 2006.
The funeral will be Saturday 1pm at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery at a later date. A calling hour will be on Saturday from 12 noon to 1pm at the funeral home.
