Virginia A. Salter

Virginia A. Salter, 82, formerly of NYS Rt 289, Village of Ellisburg, died Saturday morning at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where she had resided for 5 years.

Members of the Belleville Eudora Order of the Eastern Star will conduct a memorial service, Monday ( Feb. 26th) 3pm at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. The funeral service will follow the Star service. Spring burial will be in Black River Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Ellisburg United Methodist Church or to the Ellisburg Volunteer Fire Department Auxillary.



Wilfred O. “Bud” Zeller

Wilfred O. “Bud” Zeller, 72, of Co Rt 79, died Wednesday morning at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where he had been a resident for 3 weeks. He was admitted to the Samaritan Medical Center on January 1st.

The funeral will be Saturday 11am at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, with Rev. Thomas Wilson, pastor of the Smithville Baptist Church officiating. Spring burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, Belleville. Calling hours are Friday from 2p – 4pm and 7p – 9pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.



Doreth H. Brown

Doreth H. Brown, 92, of Co Rt. 75, Sackets Harbor died Saturday evening at the Samaritan Medical Center where she had been a patient for about 1 week.

There will be no calling hours or funeral. Her body was cremated. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Lakeside Cemetery, Sackets Harbor. Contributions can be made in her honor to the Sackets Harbor Fire Dept. Arrangements are with the Carpenter- Stoodley Funeral Home.

Helen M. Chojnacki, 82, died Tuesday at the Van Duyn Home where she had resided for 5 years.

There are no services or calling hours. The body was cremated. Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville.
