A Memorial Service for Douglas J. Hall, Jr., 53, of 17481 US Route 11, will be at 8:00PM Tuesday at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Hall died Saturday morning in the Emergency Room at the Samaritan Medical Center after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home.

He was born April 27, 1955 in Watertown, a son of Kenneth and Elizabeth Miller, Hall. He attended Belleville Central School, he worked locally for a while before moving to Mississippi. He married Teri Holmes on April 24, 2004 in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Two previous marriages ended in divorce.

Mr. and Mrs. Hall returned to Watertown in June of 2004, and he worked at McGrann Paper, Jefferson Concrete Corp, and then at Drive Davidson auto dealership on Arsenal St., where he was employed at the time of his death.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR and Jeff Burton, and the Green Bay Packers.

Surviving with his wife Teri; are eight children, Douglas, Jr. of Fulton, Craig of Lowville, Joseph of Sandy Creek, James, Corey, Chad and Jordan all of Mannsville, and Mathew of Watertown; two stepchildren, Shawn Vandiver of Birmingham, AL and Brittany Vandiver of Russellville, AL; two sisters, Gloria Hirst of Adams Center and Kimberly Fulkerson of Adams; two brothers, Stanley L. of Henderson and Timothy J. of Alexandria Bay; eight grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Margurite Wagar, Maribeth England and Eileen Hatch; and three brothers, Gary W., Kenneth, Jr., and Mark H. and a nephew, David Schwalm.
