Jessie J. Place

Jessie J. Place, 98, formerly of Pulaski and North Syracuse, died Sunday at the Sunnyside Nursing Facility in East Syracuse where she was a resident.

She was born June 9, 1909 in the Town of Watertown, a daughter of George and Ethel Price Cornwell. She married Raymond A. Place, August 31, 1925 in Lorraine. Mr. Place died September 1, 1967.

Mrs. Place is survived by a son, Ernest R., Saranac Lake. 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Raymond and Oliver Cornwell, 3 sisters, Ina Romback, Frances Williams and Theda Secor and a predeceased son, Donald A.

Graveside services will be held in the spring in Woodside Cemetery, Belleville. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville.
