The funeral for Marjorie E. Larkin will be Tuesday, June 5th, 10:30am at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, with Rev. Floyd Williamson, officiating. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Adams following cremation. Calling hours are Monday from 7p – 9pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Senior Nutrition Program at Oswego County Opportunities.

Mrs. Larkin, 81, of Pontiac Apts., Oswego, died Tuesday at Oswego Hospital.

She was born in Watertown, July 20, 1925, a daughter of Cyrus and Florence Dixon Bowman. She graduated from Adams High School in 1943. She married Frederick J. Larkin, October 8, 1950. Mr. and Mrs. Larkin lived on Spring St. in Adams for many years. Mrs. Larkin was a cook at the Hotel Adams retiring in the mid 1970’s. Mr. Larkin died in the mid 70’s.

Mrs. Larkin attended the Oswego Church of Christ and the Salvation Army services at the Pontiac Apts. She was a volunteer for the Senior Nutrition Site in Oswego. She enjoyed walking, reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Frederick W. and Brenda, Oswego. A grandson and his wife, Eric and Holli, Windsor. A brother, John “Jack” Bowman, Belleville. Several nieces and nephews. 2 brothers, Herbert and Cyrus, Jr. predeceased her.
