Harold C. LaRock, Sr. January 13, 2007

Harold C. LaRock, Sr., 89, of Harborview Rd., died Friday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Tuesday. He has been a resident at the Vivian Teal Howard Nursing Home, Syracuse for 2 years.

Mr. LaRock was a dairy farmer with his father from 1933 until 1978. The 350 acre farm was located in the Village and Town of Henderson on Harborview Rd. The farm included Henderson Pond.

He was born in the Town of Ellisburg, November 19, 1917, a son of Roy and Gertrude Brewer LaRock. He married Wanda Howard May 17th, 1941.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Alice Parker, Winter Haven, FL. 2 sons and their wives, Harold Jr. and Dorothy, Louisville, KY, Dennis and Cynthia, West Monroe, NY. 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. A sister, Betty Shear, Watertown. Nieces and nephews. A granddaughter, Pamela Erickson, predeceased him.

The will be no funeral or calling hours. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, Town of Ellisburg. Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville.
