Kent R. Gregory 42, of 16 ½ North Park Street, died Friday afternoon in the Samaritan Medical Center after being stricken at his home.

He was born April 2, 1965 in Watertown the son of Roy K. and Charlotte K. McGrath, Gregory. He graduated from Belleville Central School in 1984. He was never married.

He had worked at the Adams Sales Barn, the Sunoco gas station in Adams, as a part time custodian in the Belleville-Henderson Central School, at the Watertown Wal-Mart store, and he operated a lawn care business at the time of his death.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, watching comedy and horror movies, and listening to country music.

He is survived by his mother Charlotte; aunts, uncles and cousins. His father Roy died August 3, 1996.

The funeral service will be 3:00PM Wednesday at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville with Rev. Sharon Satterlee, pastor of the Belleville United Methodist Church, officiating. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00PM at the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rodman.
