Alice R. Haskett

Alice R. Haskett, 91, died December 4th at The Waters of Muncie Nursing Home in Muncie, Indiana.

She was born in Jefferson County, May 27, 1916, a daughter of Earl and Marion Bradbury Reed. She graduated from Union Academy at Belleville. She married Herbert Kast. He died October 30, 1970 in Orlando, FL. She married Paul Haskett in 1993. She lived in Orlando FL before moving to Muncie, Indiana in the spring of 2006.

Besides her husband, she is survived 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Phyllis and Jim Allen, Sandy Creek, Charlotte Reed, Lacona. 2 step daughters and their husbands, Cindy and John Stanton, Muncie, IN, Sally and Tom Bish, Colorado. A step son and his wife, Charles and Nancy Conn, Muncie, IN. Several grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Several nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Clarence, Edgar and George Reed predeceased her.

The funeral will be Saturday 3pm at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. Spring burial will be in Ellisburg Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday from 1p – 3pm at the funeral home.
