Loren J. (Pete) Austin

April 28, 2007

Loren J. (Pete) Austin 82, formerly of 219 Lorraine St., died Saturday, April 28th at E.W. Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI. He had been a patient since Wednesday April 25th.

At Mr. Austin’s request there will be no funeral service, no calling hours, and burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville.



James G. Ingold

James G. Ingold, 88, of Canonsburg, PA, died Tuesday May 8th at his home.

The funeral will be Saturday 11am at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Town of Henderson. Calling hours are Friday from 7p – 9pm at the funeral home.



Clifford E. Cool May 5, 2007

Clifford E. Cool 69, of 738 Cottage Park Lane, Leesburg, FL, died Friday evening, at his property at Crystal Lake. He had been in ill health for the past 6 months.

A graveside service will be at the convenience of the family in Adams Rural Cemetery. There will be no calling hours, the body will be cremated.

Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville.



Bernard Arthur Moore, Sr

Bernard Arthur Moore, Sr. 76, of 12373 County Route 79, died Thursday morning at his home. He had been in ill health for some time.

There will be no funeral and no calling hours, the body will be cremated. Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home.



Martha E. Yoder

Martha E. Yoder 69, of 7020 Allard Road, went to be with her savior on Tuesday May 1st. She was under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

The funeral service will be 10:00AM Saturday at the Belleville-Henderson High School. Burial will be in the Woodville Mennonite Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00PM Friday at the Northern Light Church, Allard Road, Woodville. Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville.

Contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice in her memory.



Bernard K. Macklen

April 30, 2007

Bernard K. Macklen 86, of 24530 Macklen Road, died Monday morning in the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. He was admitted to the hospital on April 11th.

The funeral service will be 10:30AM Saturday, at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, with Rev. Mary Drake, pastor of the Lorraine United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rodman.

Calling hours will be Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home. The Rodman Masonic Lodge will conduct a Masonic Service Friday 7:30PM, at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Lorraine United Methodist Church, Lorraine, NY 13659.



Leo H. McIntosh

April 29, 2007

Leo H. McIntosh, Jr. 53, of 12001 NYS Route 178, died Sunday morning in University Hospital, Syracuse. He suffered a stroke while in Canton, and was transferred from the Potsdam Hospital to University Hospital on Saturday evening.

A graveside service, at the convenience of the family, will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Town of Henderson. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville.

Contributions may be made to the R.B. Lawrence Ambulance Service, 21 Park St., Canton, NY 13617.



Michael J. Widrick

April 16, 2007

The funeral service for Michael J. Widrick 42, of the South Landing Road, will be 3:00PM Thursday at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville with Rev. Kyle Widrick pastor of the Grace Community Church, Adams, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Calling hours will be 1:00 to 3:00PM Thursday, at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Mr. Widrick died Sunday morning in the Emergency Room at the Samaritan Medical Center, after being stricken at home.



Wendell H. “Wendy” Cean

April 5, 2007

Wendell H. “Wendy” Cean 77, formerly of South Main Street, died Wednesday evening at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Trudi and Larry Bertram, at 5214 Wilder Road, Pierrepont Manor, following a lengthy illness. He was under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County and his family.

A Memorial Service will be 3:00PM Saturday at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, with Rev. Linda Harris, pastor of the Ellisburg United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Contributions may be made to the South Jefferson Rescue Squad, Adams, NY 1360r, or to Hospice of Jefferson County, Inc., 425 Washington St., Watertown, NY 13601.



Richard A. Bulluck, Sr., 73, of 14662 County Route 91, died Monday Noon in the Samaritan Medical Center where he was admitted March 17th.

Calling hours are scheduled for Friday, 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. Other arrangements are incomplete at this time.



Kathleen V. “Dobbie” Higgins

April 2, 2007

Kathleen V. “Dobbie” Higgins 38, of NYS Route 193, died Monday afternoon in the Samaritan Medical Center, where she had been a patient since February 15th.

A Memorial service will be 1:00PM Thursday at the Ellisburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Harris, pastor, officiating. A calling hour will be Noon to 1:00PM Thursday, at the church, prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date in Brookside Cemetery, Watertown. Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville.
